Who runs this site

POOL BTC (pool-btc.com) is an independent comparison site for Bitcoin mining pools, run by a small team of miners and developers. We are not a mining pool and not an exchange. We do not accept hashrate or funds and we do not hold anyone's money.

What we do not ask for

The site has no accounts, no registration and no payment forms. We never ask for passwords, wallet keys, seed phrases, card numbers or any identity documents. If a page of pool-btc.com ever asks you for them, it is not our page: write to us.

What is collected automatically

  • Yandex Metrika on most pages: page views, device and browser type, approximate location, traffic source, clicks and scrolling. It also records anonymised visit sessions (Webvisor) and click maps. It sets cookies.
  • Google tag (Google Ads) on most pages: it measures the results of our own Google Ads campaigns and may set cookies.
  • Like any website, our server and hosting provider may keep standard logs (IP address, time, requested page).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings or with a content blocker. The site works without them.

What stays in your browser

We store your chosen interface language in your browser (local storage) so the site opens in it next time. We also cache the latest price ticker there for a few minutes to load the page faster. This stays on your device. The site does not detect your country from your IP address.

Requests to other services

To show live prices and network statistics, your browser requests public data from third-party services such as CoinGecko, mempool.space, Blockchair, the Kaspa API and 2Miners. Like any website you open, they see your IP address. Their own policies apply to that data.

Affiliate links

Some links to mining pools and other services are affiliate links and are marked as sponsored. If you sign up through them, the service may pay us a reward. It does not change the price for you and it does not change the order of rows in our tables: pools are sorted by fee. Fees and terms come from the official pages of each pool, and every row shows its check date.

Other websites

When you follow a link to a pool, exchange or any other site, our policy no longer applies. Read the policy of that service before you register.

Your requests

To ask what data about you we may hold, or to ask us to delete it, write to support@pool-btc.com. Analytics data is processed by Yandex and Google under their own terms, so for it you can also use the opt-out tools those services provide.

Changes

If we change this page, the date below changes too.
