Pool names and the links in the Source column are referral links: we may receive a reward if you register through them. This does not affect the fees, the order of rows (sorted by fee) or the check dates.
Sorted by fee, lowest first. Pools that do not publish a fee are listed last. Terms change, so confirm them on the pool site before you connect hardware.
Which pool fits whom
- Lowest fee: SupportXMR at 0.6% (coins: XMR). Among pools that mine BTC, the lowest is Tpool at 0.9%.
- Small farms that want frequent payouts can look at pools with a low threshold: NiceHash (0.00001 BTC), EMCD (0.0001 BTC), Coinhold (0.0001 BTC), Promminer (0.0001 BTC), Tpool (0.0001 BTC).
- Stable income per share: FPPS at AntPool, F2Pool, Luxor, Binance Pool, EMCD, Coinhold, Promminer, Tpool, Neopool, Foundry USA; PPS+ at ViaBTC, Trustpool, Kryptex Pool. If you accept variance in exchange for pool luck, PPLNS is offered by AntPool, ViaBTC, F2Pool, 2Miners, SupportXMR, Nanopool, WoolyPooly.
- Foundry USA is an institutional pool: access by application with KYC, fee set by pricing tiers, minimum payout 0.01 BTC.
- Altcoin miners who do not need BTC: 2Miners, HeroMiners, SupportXMR, Nanopool, WoolyPooly.
How we compare
Fee is the pool commission for the default scheme listed. Payout scheme is how the pool credits your shares. Minimum payout is the balance you need before the pool sends coins to your wallet. Coins are the currencies the pool mines. Checked is the date we last compared the fee and terms with the official pool pages (fee page, help centre, pricing page, docs).
Data comes from public pool documents, and the links in the table are referral links. Terms change without notice, so each row is valid as of its check date. For more context read our fee ranking and the payout schemes guide. Estimate income in the calculator and pick hardware in the miner ranking.
Frequently asked questions
Which mining pool has the lowest fee?
In our table the lowest disclosed fee is 0.6% at SupportXMR, coins: XMR. For Bitcoin the lowest is 0.9% at Tpool. The highest disclosed fee is 4%. Neopool and Foundry USA do not publish a fee, so we list them last instead of guessing a number.
What is the difference between FPPS, PPS+ and PPLNS?
FPPS pays a fixed rate for every share, including the block reward and an estimate of transaction fees. PPS+ pays the block reward at a fixed rate and shares actual transaction fees as they come. PPLNS pays from blocks the pool really finds, so income varies more, but ViaBTC and F2Pool charge less on PPLNS.
What does minimum payout mean?
It is the balance your account must reach before the pool sends coins to your wallet. In our table BTC thresholds range from 0.00001 BTC to 0.01 BTC. A low threshold matters for small farms: with a high one, earnings can sit on the pool balance for a long time.
Is the fee the whole story?
No. Two pools with the same fee can pay differently because of the payout scheme, how transaction fees are shared, the minimum payout and stale shares. Compare net income in the calculator with your own hashrate and power price, not only the headline percentage.
How often is the data checked?
Each row shows its own check date. The current table was compared with the official pool pages (fee page, help centre, pricing page, docs) between 2026-08-18 and 2026-10-05. Pools change terms without notice, so confirm the fee and payout rules on the pool site before you connect hardware.
Is POOL BTC a mining pool?
No. POOL BTC is an independent comparison site. We do not run a pool, accept hashrate or pay rewards. Pool names and the links in the Source column are referral links: we may receive a reward if you register through them, but the row order depends only on the fee.
