Kryptex Pool review 2026: fees, payouts, coins, Kryptex app, who it fits
Kryptex Pool suits GPU and CPU miners and owners of a few ASICs who want hourly payouts straight to a wallet address, with no registration. Most coin pages we checked show a 1% fee. Bitcoin costs 3% on PPS+, and balances on inactive wallets are deleted after 90 days, so large BTC farms should compare before switching.
POOL BTC is an independent comparison site. We are not Kryptex, we do not run a mining pool, and nothing here is investment advice. The facts below come from the official pages of pool.kryptex.com and kryptex.com, checked on 2026-10-08, plus the official pages of the alternatives and our own pool data where noted.
What is Kryptex Pool?
Kryptex Pool is a multi-coin mining pool from the same brand as the Kryptex desktop app. It accepts ASIC (SHA256), GPU, CPU and FPGA hardware, pays hourly, and lets you mine to a wallet address without creating an account. The homepage lists about 30 coins, Bitcoin among them, with auto-conversion to BTC or USDT on most of them.
There are two products under one brand. The pool is for anyone who points a miner at a stratum address. The Kryptex app is a Windows program for people who do not want to configure mining software at all: it detects the CPU and GPU, picks an algorithm and mines for you. Kryptex says the app has 10M+ downloads.
One naming point. Kryptex is a different entity from Cryptex, the sanctioned exchange with a similar name. Search results sometimes mix the two, so check the domain: the pool lives at pool.kryptex.com.
The operator company and its jurisdiction are not stated on the pages we read on 2026-10-08.
How much does Kryptex Pool charge, and what are the limits?
Fees depend on the coin. Per the official coin pages, Bitcoin costs 3% on PPS+, while Kaspa, Ravencoin, Ethereum Classic and Monero cost 1%. Kaspa and Monero also offer SOLO mode at 1%. Payouts are hourly, and the pool covers network fees where possible, according to its about-pool page.
| Coin | Fee | Scheme | Minimum payout | Stratum |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BTC | 3% | PPS+ | 0.001 BTC | btc.kryptex.network:7014 |
| KAS | 1% | PPS+ or SOLO (1%) | 10 KAS | kas.kryptex.network:7011 |
| RVN | 1% | PPS+ | 10 RVN | rvn.kryptex.network:7031 (SSL) |
| ETC | 1% | PPS+ | 0.05 ETC | etc.kryptex.network, TCP 7033, SSL 8033 |
| XMR | 1% | PPS+ or SOLO (1%) | 0.01 XMR | xmr.kryptex.network:7029 (SSL) |
Fees for the other coins on the list and any PROP levels were not checked, so confirm them on the coin page before you connect. The Ravencoin page also notes that custom difficulty is not supported.
The official pages do not agree with each other on two points:
- Fee. The about-pool page says "Pool fee 1%" with no coin named. The Bitcoin page says 3%. An older Kryptex article about NiceHash rental says fees are 1-3% depending on the coin. We treat the per-coin pages as authoritative, which means 3% for BTC.
- Minimum payout. The coin pages list fixed minimums, such as 0.001 BTC. The pool also says you set the minimum payout yourself, the about-pool page mentions 1 USDT, and the RVN page mentions $1 withdrawals with auto-convert. The pages do not explain how these rules fit together, so check the payout settings for your coin.
For scale, the homepage priced 0.001 BTC at about USD 83.12 on 2026-10-08. A VIP program with lower fees is mentioned on the homepage, but its terms are not stated.
Before routing hashrate, run your hardware and power price through our mining calculator. On Bitcoin, the gap between a 3% pool and a cheaper one can decide whether a home rig breaks even.
How big is the Kryptex Bitcoin pool?
The Bitcoin page showed 6.36 EH/s, 1,771 miners and 4,464 workers on 2026-10-08, and the homepage had shown 6.46 EH/s earlier the same day. That is a small pool by Bitcoin standards. On PPS+ your payout does not depend on the pool's own luck, so size matters less than it would on a luck-based scheme.
One thing we could not explain. On mempool.space's one-week pool view for 2026-10-08, Kryptex does not appear as a block-finding pool. For comparison, F2Pool showed 17.26%, Braiins 1.25% and NiceHash 1.16% in the same view. The reason is unknown: blocks may carry no Kryptex coinbase tag, or the hashrate may be routed some other way. We did not compute a network share for Kryptex.
Who is Kryptex Pool for, and who should skip it?
Kryptex fits miners with mixed or modest hardware who want simple setup and frequent payouts. It is a weaker fit for large Bitcoin operations that watch every percent of fee, and for anyone who mines occasionally and might leave a balance untouched for months.
It fits if you:
- mine Kaspa, Ravencoin, Monero or ETC, where the coin pages show 1%;
- want hourly payouts and auto-conversion to BTC or USDT;
- prefer to mine straight to a wallet without an account or KYC;
- run a Windows PC and want the app to handle algorithm choice;
- rent hashrate on NiceHash and want it to show up as a separate worker.
Skip it or compare first if you:
- run a sizeable Bitcoin farm, where 3% PPS+ is high against Braiins with Braiins OS;
- need a known operator company and jurisdiction, which the pages we read do not state;
- might leave a wallet inactive for 90 days or more;
- want Lightning payouts or withdrawal to a bank card, neither of which is stated.
Which countries can use Kryptex Pool?
The official pages state no country restrictions, as checked on 2026-10-08. There is no explicit policy for Russia, the CIS or Argentina. Kryptex publishes regional endpoints for Europe, the US, Brazil, Singapore, Hong Kong, Russia and the UAE, so the pool clearly expects miners from those regions.
Regional hosts follow the pattern coin-eu, coin-us, coin-br, coin-sg, coin-hk, coin-ru or coin-ae, followed by .kryptex.network, for example kas-br.kryptex.network for Kaspa in South America. Pick the host nearest to your rigs to cut latency.
A missing restriction on a web page is not legal advice. Mining and crypto rules in your country still apply, and they can change.
How safe is Kryptex Pool, and who holds your coins?
When you mine to a wallet address, the pool holds your earned balance until it is paid out, hourly once you reach the threshold. After that, the coins sit in your own wallet. In account mode with auto-convert, Kryptex holds the balance until you withdraw.
Withdrawal options listed on kryptex.com are BTC, USDT, ETH, USDC and gift cards. Card or fiat withdrawal is not stated. Pool mining needs no KYC per the about-pool page and homepage. Whether KYC applies to the account or withdrawal flow is not stated.
In a limited search we found no reports of hacks. One search snippet mentioned a payout pause for Salvium (SAL) after a network fork, which we could not verify. Support runs through Telegram @Kryptex, Discord, support@kryptex.com and a knowledge base.
Kryptex also publishes figures about itself: 99.99% infrastructure uptime, a Trustpilot score of 4.8 out of 5 from 420+ reviews, ten years of operation and 153,000+ active miners. These are the company's own claims and we did not verify them.
How do you start mining on Kryptex Pool?
There are three ways in: point any miner at a stratum address, install the Kryptex app on Windows, or send rented NiceHash hashrate to the pool. The settings below come from the official coin pages and the NiceHash article. A full official checklist for each mining program was not captured.
Direct mining with your own software:
- Open the coin page on pool.kryptex.com and copy the stratum host and port, for example btc.kryptex.network:7014.
- Pick a regional host if one is closer to you, such as btc-eu or btc-us.
- In your miner, set the username to your wallet address, optionally followed by a dot and a worker name.
- Set the password to x.
- Start the miner and check the minimum payout for that coin, or choose auto-convert if you need a lower threshold.
Renting hashrate on NiceHash:
- Create a NiceHash account and deposit BTC.
- Enter the Kryptex stratum URL, port, your wallet as the username and x as the password.
- Start the order and confirm within 10-15 minutes that the rented hashrate appears as a separate worker.
With the app, you install it on a Windows PC and it detects the CPU and GPU and picks the algorithm. Kryptex advertises earnings of about $22 a month for an RTX 5090 and $750+ a month for professional ASICs. That is marketing. Real income depends on power price, difficulty and coin prices, so check the numbers yourself in the calculator.
If you decide to try it, you can open Kryptex Pool and pick your coin.
What are the risks of using Kryptex Pool?
The biggest documented risk is the 90-day rule. Per the official article on how long the pool keeps coins, the balance of an inactive wallet is kept for 90 days, then deleted, and the coins are lost. A miner who stops below the payout minimum and forgets about it loses that balance.
Other risks to weigh:
- Bitcoin costs 3%, which is high next to Braiins with Braiins OS.
- The about-pool page and the Bitcoin page show different fees, so read the page for your coin.
- The operator company and jurisdiction are not stated on the pages we read.
- Kryptex does not appear as a block finder on mempool.space, and the reason is unknown.
- The uptime, rating and income figures are self-reported.
- On Trustpilot, one unverified reader complaint mentions a BTC minimum of about USD 30 with a fee of about USD 6, and USDT on BEP20 needing gas. Official docs do not say this, but check withdrawal costs before you rely on small payouts.
How does Kryptex Pool compare with NiceHash, Braiins Pool and F2Pool?
For Bitcoin, Kryptex charges 3% on PPS+. Braiins charges 0% if you run Braiins OS, F2Pool charges 4% FPPS per our August check, and NiceHash EasyMining lists a 3% pool fee. Kryptex stands out for hourly payouts, no registration and a 1% fee on the GPU and CPU coin pages we checked.
| Pool | BTC scheme | BTC fee | Minimum payout | Other coins | Registration |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kryptex Pool | PPS+ | 3% | 0.001 BTC | About 30, 1% on the four non-BTC pages checked | Not needed, wallet address |
| NiceHash | EasyMining | 3% pool fee, plus 2% payout service charge to NiceWallet | 0.00001 BTC to NiceWallet, 10 sat over Lightning | Hashrate marketplace | Account |
| Braiins Pool | FPPS | 0% with Braiins OS, standard fee not stated on the page | Not stated on the page | BTC focus | Not stated |
| F2Pool | FPPS by default | 4% (our August check) | 0.005 BTC (our August check) | PPS, PPLNS or FPPS by coin | Not stated |
There is a conflict on NiceHash. Its EasyMining article gives a 3% pool fee and a 2% payout service charge to NiceWallet, while our own site data lists a NiceHash fee of 2%, verified on 2026-10-03. We show both, and you should check the current fee in your NiceHash account.
On scale, F2Pool's homepage showed 149.90 EH/s of 1027.49 EH/s network hashrate on 2026-10-08, about 14.6% by our calculation, and 17.26% on the mempool.space one-week view. That is far larger than the 6.36 EH/s on Kryptex's BTC page.
For other options, see our EMCD pool review, another pool with GPU coins and an open fee conflict, and our Binance Pool review if you prefer a pool tied to an exchange.
FAQ
What is the Kryptex Pool fee?
