Tpool review 2026: 0.9% fee, FPPS for BTC, payouts and who it fits

Tpool is worth a look if you mine BTC on one or a few ASICs and want the lowest headline fee we track: 0.9% on every coin, FPPS for bitcoin and a 0.0001 BTC payout threshold. It fits less well if you need a pool that public block explorers identify, English-first support or fixed published stratum addresses.

POOL BTC is an independent comparison site. We are not a pool, we do not run Tpool, and nothing here is financial advice. Everything below comes from tpool.io as we read it on 2026-10-03: the home page, the public coin data the home page loads, and the terms of use at tpool.io/terms. Where the site says nothing, we say so.

What is Tpool and what does it claim?

Tpool is a mining pool at tpool.io with a Russian-language site, mobile apps for iOS and Android and a Telegram Mini App. On 2026-10-03 its home page advertised a 0.9% fee, 0% for merged mining, a referral programme, special terms for data centres and large miners, and GPU mining marked "coming soon".

The home page also shows "Uptime 99.99%". That is the pool's own claim; we found no independent uptime monitor to confirm it. The GPU block lists three coins as "Coming soon", each at 0.9%: BC3, RVN and PRL. Under "available worldwide" the page shows the labels Ru, Kz, Kg, Abh, UAE, EU and Ir, without saying whether these are server locations or user regions.

What does Tpool charge?

The fee is 0.9% on every coin the pool lists, and merged mining is 0%. Both figures were on the tpool.io home page and in its public coin data on 2026-10-03. Our own comparison data held the same 0.9%, last checked against tpool.io on 2026-09-09, so the figure has not moved in that time.

The home page adds a line worth reading twice: found better terms elsewhere, write to us and we will offer better. So the 0.9% is a public rate, and large miners and data centres are invited to negotiate. The terms of use (section 7.20) say the pool pays the network transaction fee on payouts, which matters at a 0.0001 BTC threshold, where a miner-paid network fee could eat a visible share of a small payment.

Which payout scheme does each coin use?

Bitcoin uses FPPS, so you are paid for each share plus an average share of transaction fees, whether or not the pool finds a block. The coin table the tpool.io home page loaded on 2026-10-03 listed:

CoinSchemeFeeDefault payout threshold
BTCFPPS0.9%0.0001 BTC
BCHFPPS0.9%0.001 BCH
ETCFPPS0.9%1 ETC
LTCPPS0.9%0.001 LTC
DASHPPS0.9%0.001 DASH
ZECPPS0.9%0.1 ZEC

The site owner read the same schemes from the pool's coin table on 2026-10-01, so the list was stable across both checks. LTC is mined together with DOGE and other merged coins, with 0% fee on the merged part. The threshold is a default; the account settings let you turn automatic payouts on or off and change the address.

When does Tpool pay out?

Daily. The terms of use (section 7.7) say earnings are calculated every day and payouts run from 12:00 to 18:00 Moscow time (UTC+3), with the transaction starting to form at 12:00. The account dashboard text on the same site says payouts run from 06:00 to 17:00 MSK.

Those two windows do not match, and we could not tell which one is current from the public pages on 2026-10-03. If the exact hour matters to you, ask support in Telegram before relying on either. Claims about unpaid or wrongly paid amounts are accepted only within two days of the payment date (section 7.8), so check your payout history regularly.

Which coins can you mine?

The live coin table on 2026-10-03 had six coins: BTC, LTC, BCH, DASH, ETC and ZEC. Other lists on the same site and in our own data differ from it.

  • Terms of use, section 1.5: BTC, FB (Fractal Bitcoin), BCH, LTC, DOGE, BELLS, DINGO, PEP and ZEC. No DASH or ETC.
  • Our comparison data: BTC, FB, BCH, LTC, DOGE, DASH, ETC, ZEC.
  • Live coin table (2026-10-03): BTC, LTC, BCH, DASH, ETC, ZEC, with DOGE and the other scrypt coins arriving through LTC merged mining.

Fractal Bitcoin appears in the terms and in our earlier data but not in the live table we read, so confirm it in your account before pointing a machine at it.

Does Tpool require KYC?

Not at sign-up, as far as the public site shows. Registration asks for an email address and a password. But section 7.27 of the terms lets the pool identify a client, request extra documents and information for AML/KYC purposes at any time, and suspend service until it gets them.

Section 10.10 adds that funds sent to your address can be restricted or frozen on suspicious activity or at the request of authorities. Section 2.2 lets the pool stop service without compensation if mining is banned or restricted in your jurisdiction. This is normal language for a custodial pool, but it is the opposite of "no KYC ever", so plan for the possibility of a document request.

How big is Tpool?

By its own numbers, quite big. The public coin data on tpool.io on 2026-10-03 showed a BTC pool hashrate of about 9.32 EH/s against a network figure of about 852.9 EH/s, which works out to roughly 1.1%, with about 74,500 miners and 101,300 workers online.

mempool.space tells a different story. Over the month to 2026-10-03 it listed no pool called Tpool among identified pools; unidentified blocks ("Unknown") were 0.77% of the 4,395 blocks. An FPPS pool can route hashrate in ways that do not carry its own name in the coinbase, so this does not prove the pool's figure wrong. It does mean we cannot confirm the 9.32 EH/s independently.

Tpool vs Trustpool, ViaBTC and EMCD

Tpool's 0.9% is the lowest headline fee of the four, and its 0.0001 BTC threshold ties EMCD's for the lowest. Trustpool is close on fee at 1% but uses PPS+. ViaBTC and EMCD charge 4% on their default BTC schemes. Fee bases differ between FPPS and PPS+, so read the gaps as a guide.

ViaBTC is also the only one of the four that mempool.space identified by name, at 9.01% of blocks over the month to 2026-10-03. For the full Trustpool picture, see our Trustpool review; for the wider ranking, pool fees compared.

How much does 0.9% save in practice?

On one Antminer S21 Pro the saving against a 1% pool is a rounding error, and against a 4% pool it is about 108 dollars a year. This is an illustration, not a forecast: it assumes hashprice stays flat and that every pool pays on the same base.

The formula: yearly fee = hashrate in PH/s × hashprice × 365 × fee. With 234 TH/s (0.234 PH/s) and a hashprice of 40.93 USD per PH/s per day (Hashrate Index, 2026-09-21), gross revenue is 9.58 USD a day, or 3,495.83 USD a year.

How to connect to Tpool, step by step

The home page gives four steps, and the help section holds a PDF named "How to connect an ASIC to Tpool". The help page returned server errors when we tried it on 2026-10-03, and the stratum addresses are not on the public pages we could read, so take them from your account or the PDF.

  1. Register at tpool.io with an email address and a password. Turn on two-factor authentication in the account settings, which the site supports.
  2. Copy the stratum address for your coin from the "Instructions" section in your account.
  3. In the ASIC web panel, enter the stratum address, your worker name and any password the instructions give.
  4. Set your payout address and threshold in the account, and check that automatic payouts are on.
  5. After an hour or so, compare the hashrate shown in the "Workers" tab with what your ASIC reports.

Risks to weigh before switching

The main risks are transparency ones. The pool's BTC hashrate cannot be cross-checked on mempool.space, the payout window differs between the terms and the dashboard, and the coin list differs between pages. None of these is a red flag by itself, but together they mean you should start small.

Two terms clauses deserve attention. Section 7.21 lets the pool fine users for breaking the terms, and section 6.7.1 bans proxies, scripts or modified firmware that inflate reported hashrate. If you run custom firmware or a proxy for honest reasons, ask support first. The site is Russian-first and support runs through Telegram, which suits some miners and not others.

Who should pick Tpool?

Tpool suits a small or mid-size BTC miner who wants FPPS, a 0.9% fee and daily payouts from 0.0001 BTC with the network fee covered. It also suits a scrypt miner who wants LTC plus merged coins at 0% merged fee. It suits less well anyone who needs a large, publicly visible pool or English support.

A sensible test: point one machine at Tpool for two weeks, keep the rest where they are, and compare the credited BTC per TH/s against your current pool. If you are weighing the bigger names, our OCEAN vs Foundry USA comparison covers the other end of the market.
