2Miners review 2026: fees, payouts, PPLNS and SOLO, who it fits
2Miners is worth a look if you mine GPU coins such as Ethereum Classic, Kaspa, Ravencoin or Ergo and want a 1% PPLNS pool with automatic payouts every two hours. It does not suit you if you need a bitcoin pool with steady daily income: for BTC it offers only SOLO mining.
POOL BTC is an independent comparison site for bitcoin mining pools and the services miners use. We are not 2Miners and not a mining pool, and nothing here is investment advice. The facts below come from the official 2Miners pages (terms, FAQ and the home page), checked on 2026-10-22. Where the site does not say something, we say so instead of guessing.
What is 2Miners?
2Miners is a public mining pool for proof-of-work coins that miners usually run on GPUs and some ASICs. Its home page lists more than twenty coins, among them ETC, ZEC, RVN, KAS, ERG, ETHW, BCH, NEXA, XNA, CKB, BEAM, GRIN and BTG. Bitcoin is listed as well, but only in SOLO mode.
You do not create a classic account. The pool uses your wallet address as the username, and you can look at your statistics by entering that address. The official pages we read describe no sign-up and no KYC. On the question of identity checks directly, the answer is simple: KYC is not stated on the official site (checked 2026-10-22).
Servers sit in Europe, North America and Asia. The home page shows ping figures from European locations: Stockholm 24 ms, Helsinki 30 ms, Warsaw 31 ms and Berlin 34 ms.
Our own pool table lists four coins for 2Miners (KAS, ETC, RVN, ERG). The official site shows far more, so treat our table as a short list of the most popular ones.
How much does 2Miners charge, and what are the payout limits?
The PPLNS pool fee is 1%, and the SOLO fee is 1.5%. The fee is taken from the payout. The terms page does not give separate fees per coin, so we cannot say whether any coin differs. Minimum payouts depend on the coin; for most of them you set your own threshold in account settings.
| Coin | Minimum payout | PPLNS window (N) |
|---|---|---|
| ETC | 0.1 | 50,000 |
| ZEC | 0.1 | 50,000 |
| RVN | 10 | 200,000 |
| KAS | 50 | 200,000 |
| ERG | 1 | 300,000 |
| BCH | 0.05 | 200,000 |
| ETHW | 0.1 | 300,000 |
| NEXA | 50,000 | 50,000 |
| XNA | 1,000 | 50,000 |
| CKB | 500 | 50,000 |
| BEAM | 3 | 50,000 |
| GRIN | 50 | 60,000 |
| BTG | 0.1 | 20,000 |
| BTC (SOLO only) | 0.05 | not applicable |
Payouts are automatic every two hours, per the home page and the FAQ. You may see a claim elsewhere that the pool pays once a day at noon UTC. We could not confirm it on the official site and it conflicts with the two-hour statement, so we do not rely on it.
Blocks must mature before the reward counts. The FAQ gives Bitcoin Gold as an example: 100 blocks, about 20 hours.
What are PPLNS and SOLO at 2Miners?
PPLNS pays you by the shares you submitted in the last N shares before a block is found, so income is smoother than SOLO but depends on pool luck. SOLO pays the full block reward to the one miner who finds the block and nothing to anyone else. 2Miners offers both.
The N value differs by coin. It is 300,000 for ERG and ETHW, 200,000 for RVN, KAS and BCH, 100,000 for ZEPH, 60,000 for GRIN, 50,000 for ETC, BEAM, NEOXA, CKB, XNA, NEXA, CLORE and ZEC, and 20,000 for BTG, AE and MWC. A larger window smooths the payout over more shares; a smaller one reacts faster to pool luck.
The home page says "POOL and SOLO for every coin", but the actual list does not match: bitcoin, for example, appears only as SOLO. That is a conflict inside the official site, and we show it as it is. If you plan to mine a specific coin in PPLNS mode, open that coin's page and check which modes it has.
For scheme basics see our guide on mining pool payout schemes.
Is 2Miners good for bitcoin mining?
Not for regular income. Bitcoin on 2Miners is SOLO only, with a 0.05 BTC minimum payout and a 1.5% fee. With SOLO you get a reward only if your own hardware finds a block, which for a small farm is very unlikely. We did not check the bitcoin network share of 2Miners, because it does not run a PPLNS or FPPS bitcoin pool.
Some coins are marked "paid in BTC": ETC, ZEC, RVN, KAS, ERG, ETHW, BCH, XNA and NEXA. Coins such as GRIN, BEAM, CKB, ZEPH, PRL, BTG, MWC, AE, QTC and QUAI are marked as not paid in BTC. The pages we read do not explain how the conversion works, so check the rate and fee before you rely on it.
If bitcoin is your main goal, look at pools built for SHA256, for example Luxor, or use our mining profit calculator to compare what your hardware can earn.
Who is 2Miners for, and who should look elsewhere?
It fits a GPU miner with a few rigs who wants a low flat fee, frequent automatic payouts and a quick start without registration. It fits someone who wants to try SOLO on a small coin. It fits less well an ASIC owner who mines bitcoin, or anyone who needs a legal statement about their country.
Good fit:
- Miners of ETC, KAS, RVN, ERG and similar coins on GPUs.
- People who prefer to connect with a wallet address and no account.
- Miners who want to choose their own payout threshold.
Poor fit:
- Bitcoin miners who need regular PPLNS or FPPS income.
- Anyone who needs a guaranteed uptime: the terms say uptime is not guaranteed and the service is provided "as is".
- Users who want a published country list. We found none.
Which countries does 2Miners support?
The official pages do not list supported or prohibited countries. For Russia and the CIS and for Latin America including Argentina: not stated on the official site (checked 2026-10-22). The terms ask for age 21 or older and say you must follow the crypto and mining laws of your own country.
Because there is no sign-up, the pool is reachable from many places in practice, but that is not a legal guarantee. Check local rules, taxes and electricity prices before you invest in hardware.
Is 2Miners safe, and who holds your coins?
The pool does not hold your funds for long. Rewards go to the address that earned them, and balances cannot be merged between addresses. The terms say directly that the pool is not an e-wallet or a bank for your coins, so do not leave a balance there. Set a payout threshold you are comfortable with and keep coins in your own wallet.
Two other rules from the terms matter. If an account is inactive for 90 days, it may be reset, and any remaining balance is treated as a donation. And the pool does not promise uptime.
On the day we checked, the home page carried a banner that the statistics server was offline while mining continued. The ETHW PPLNS pool was halted and its payouts suspended on 14 September 2026 for maintenance, according to the "Latest updates" block. We did not find a public security audit or incident history on the pages we read, so we cannot rate the security record.
How do you start mining at 2Miners?
You need a wallet for the coin, mining software and the pool address from the coin's "How to start" page. There is no registration. The steps below are only those described on the official pages.
- Choose a coin and open its "How to start" page on the official site.
- Copy the server address and port for your region, for example eth.2miners.com:2020, zec.2miners.com:1010, btg.2miners.com:4040 or grin.2miners.com:3030.
- If you want encrypted connections, use an SSL port from the bottom of the same page, for example ethw.2miners.com:12020 or rvn.2miners.com:16060.
- Set the username to your wallet address, followed by a dot and a rig name, for example `address.rig01`. The rig name can have up to 32 characters: letters, digits, hyphen and underscore.
- Start your miner and open the statistics page, where you enter your wallet address to see hashrate and balance.
- Open account settings to set the payout threshold for the coin, within the minimum shown above.
A dedicated NiceHash-compatible stratum port exists, but its number is not on the home page.
For monitoring, the pool offers alerts through a Telegram bot, email and an iOS and Android app. Support runs through the Telegram chat @chat2miners, which the pool says is staffed around the clock and has more than 12,000 miners. The helpdesk site did not load for us on the day (a socket error), so we cannot comment on it.
What are the risks of 2Miners?
The main risks are practical. SOLO bitcoin mining can leave you with nothing for months. PPLNS payouts vary with pool luck. The site may go down without compensation, and an old balance can be lost after 90 inactive days. Coins held in the pool are not protected like a bank deposit.
There is also an information risk. The official site is inconsistent about modes, and pages like the helpdesk or the statistics server were not working on the day we checked. Per-coin fees and the BTC conversion mechanics are not described on the pages we read.
Finally, the usual mining risks apply: coin prices, difficulty and electricity costs decide whether a rig earns anything. We do not forecast prices.
How does 2Miners compare with three alternatives?
2Miners has a low fee and many coins, but its bitcoin offer is weak. HeroMiners is cheaper on the fee and focuses on altcoins. F2Pool and Luxor are bitcoin pools with FPPS payouts and higher fees. Figures come from our pool table, with fees checked on 2026-10-19.
| Pool | Fee | Payout scheme | Minimum payout | Main coins |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2Miners | 1% (PPLNS) | PPLNS, SOLO | 0.1 ETC | KAS, ETC, RVN, ERG and more |
| HeroMiners | 0.9% | PROP | 0.01 ETC | KAS, ERG, RVN, ETC |
| F2Pool | 4% | FPPS, PPLNS | 0.005 BTC | BTC, LTC, ETC, RVN, KAS |
| Luxor | 2.5% | FPPS | 0.001 BTC | BTC, LTC |
F2Pool lists PPLNS at 2% in our data, while FPPS is 4%. For a closer look at one of them, read our EMCD vs F2Pool comparison.
The choice is easy to summarize. For GPU altcoins, 2Miners and HeroMiners are the natural pair to compare, and the difference of 0.1 percentage points in the fee is smaller than the effect of luck, payout scheme and your own uptime. For bitcoin with ASICs, a FPPS pool is the more predictable option.
FAQ
Does 2Miners require registration or KYC?
The official pages we read describe no sign-up: you connect with your wallet address as the username. KYC is not stated on the official site (checked 2026-10-22), so confirm it yourself if it matters to you.
What is the 2Miners fee?
PPLNS costs 1% and SOLO costs 1.5%, taken from the payout. The terms page does not give separate fees for each coin, so we do not claim any exceptions.
How often does 2Miners pay?
Automatically every two hours according to the official home page and FAQ, once your balance reaches your threshold. A third-party claim of one payout a day at noon UTC could not be verified and conflicts with the official text.
Can I mine bitcoin on 2Miners?
Only in SOLO mode, with a 0.05 BTC minimum payout and a 1.5% fee. There is no BTC PPLNS pool, so a small farm should not expect regular income from it.
Does 2Miners work in Russia, Kazakhstan or Argentina?
The official site does not list supported or prohibited countries (checked 2026-10-22). The terms require age 21 or older and compliance with your own country's laws, so check local rules first.
Should I leave coins on the pool?
No. The terms say the pool is not a wallet or a bank, an inactive account can be reset after 90 days, and uptime is not guaranteed. Withdraw to your own wallet.
